The Grange school in Aylesbury had to close yesterday due to water shortages. They sent out this letter to parents and guardians:
"Dear Parents and Carers,
Unfortunately, we have needed to close the school early due to having no water. There seems to be a problem with water on Wendover Way.
We are able to provide bottled water to students who need it for their journey home, but we currently have no water for use in toilets. Regardless of the hot weather conditions, we would be sending students home under such circumstances.
Any student who is unable to get into their home until normal closing hours, has been asked to make their way to our IT Rooms until 3.00pm
I will review the situation for tomorrow and will try to give as early an indication as possible.
I apologise for any inconvenience that this may cause."
