The future of the longest running music festival in the UK is in doubt after racking up £120k of debt due to COVID.
The Towersey Festival, which is taking place this summer at the Claydon Estate in Aylesbury Vale, was force to cancel last year.
Organisers of the not-for-profit organisation had already paid for a number of items which they couldn’t get refunded.
They then failed to get funding through the government’s Cultural Recovery Programme.
To make sure the popular music event continues to entertain long into the future, they’ve launched a crowd-fund appeal.
