Bucks Business owners beware of false phone calls

Business owners in Bucks are being warned of fake phonecalls

It comes after Bucks Council have received reports of suspicious calls from a private number asking for business rate payment.

They have said they would never call from private numbers, as it will always show a landline number.

If you receive such a call & are worried about its validity ask the caller to confirm your business rates account number.

If it is a genuine call handler they will be able to provide this to you & you can check it against your bill
