The Osier Way site, alongside the A421 at Buckingham Industrial Estate has been sold to the national housebuilding firm Vistry.
The site has plans for a new 420 home development, allocated in the Vale of Aylesbury Local Plan.
Not everyone is happy about the original plans, with a number of local groups, including Buckingham Town Council all objecting, however the developers have said the plans also include open space and play areas, new pedestrian and cycleways, and “suitable levels” of parking.
