The Banking Hub in Buckingham has moved from its temporary home at Buckingham Library to a new permanent location.
Cash Access UK, the organisation set up to protect nationwide access to cash, confirmed The Hub is now open at 19 Market Square and will be officially opened on Thursday 14th December at 2pm by Buckingham Mayor Anja Schaefer.
The Hub will continue to offer a counter service operated by the Post Office, where customers of all major banks and building societies can carry out regular cash transactions. It will also offer a Community Banker service where customers can talk to their own bank about more complicated issues, Monday to Friday, 9.00am - 5.00pm. Community Bankers will work on rotation, with a different bank available on each day of the week:
Monday: Santander
Tuesday: NatWest
Wednesday: Nationwide until 19th January. HSBC from 19th January onwards.
Thursday: Lloyds
Friday: Barclays
The temporary hub was opened earlier in the summer and closed for the final time on Wednesday 06 December.
