Emergency services responded to a house fire in Aylesbury yesterday.
Two appliances and crews from Aylesbury and two from Thame attended the incident in Prebendal Avenue at just before 5am.
A first-floor bedroom within a two-storey house was well alight when they arrived.
The bedroom was 100 per cent damaged by fire. The first-floor of the house was 100 per cent damaged by smoke. The ground floor was unaffected by smoke or fire.
One boy was treated for the effects of breathing in smoke. He was cared for by South Central Ambulance Service.
