After two years of fundraising during lockdown, back and forth with the solicitors, and with a huge amount of paperwork the Bedgrove Scout & Guide now own their HQ site in Aylesbury.
The group still need to register the title with the Land Registry, and this may take some months yet, but from a legal standpoint, they are complete.
Chairman Alex Monro has said:
"This is an amazing thing for Scouting & Guiding in Aylesbury, and maintains a community resource in Bedgrove that will influence many, many generations of children for decades to come (centuries to come perhaps????). I can't overstate it enough what a brilliant thing this is."
