
The volunteers are back this weekend with their annual round the clock tidy up, and they need your help.
The Big Clean gets underway at 10am on Saturday morning (7/6) and follows a route round Aylesbury until 10am on Sunday morning (you can see the route and times below).
You can help at anytime in any location on the way, for as little or long as you can. All equipment will be provided, and the Wombles are also raising money for Mini-Beasts Rescue, a small, locally run, foster based rescue covering Aylesbury and the surrounding areas. A £20 donation would pay for parasite treatment for a cat (there's a link donate below).
The Wombles are a voluntary group and celebrated their 6th birthday this week. Co-founder Richard Walker is one of the team who will little pick for the full 24 hours.
