The Aylesbury Neighbourhood Team, supported by the Retail Crime Team, has carried out a series of targeted operations at Vale Retail Park this week in an effort to tackle ongoing retail crime in the area.
The operations took place across two separate days and resulted in significant enforcement activity, with officers detaining and formally dealing with 24 suspected shoplifters. Two arrests were also made during the deployments.
Police confirmed that a substantial quantity of stolen goods was recovered as part of the operation.

Officers said a notable number of those stopped were juveniles, raising continued concerns around youth involvement in retail crime across the area.
The force is urging parents and guardians to remain aware of where their children are and what they may be doing, particularly during evenings and weekends.
Retail crime continues to have a major impact on businesses, shop staff, and the wider community, with local officers stressing that proactive enforcement activity will continue.

The Aylesbury Neighbourhood Team said it will maintain targeted operations in partnership with specialist units to deter offending, support retailers, and help keep local shopping areas safe.
