MP Laura Kyrke-Smith has raised concerns in Parliament about the impact of harmful online content on teenagers.
She shared the experience of an Aylesbury 17-year-old who said many young people are seeing violent and explicit material despite parental controls.
While the Minister pointed to the Online Safety Act, Laura Kyrke-Smith says stronger action is needed – including a ban on social media for under-16s.
