A Virtual Information Evening will be held tonight (Wednesday 30th November) from 7pm, telling people all about the South Downs Hike.
The route will cover 80 miles from 8th June – 11th June 2023 of ancient tracks and along the white chalky cliffs of the south coast, all in a bid to raise vital funds for the hospice.
“Recent hikes have had an amazing atmosphere – walkers have many different motivations for taking on a challenge and over the four days we see them really bond together as a group, supporting each other through the difficult patches and cheering each other on at the finishes each day,” says Bill Richards, Events Fundraiser at the charity.
Previous successful fundraising hikes include the Ridgeway in 2021 and 2022 which raised over £80,000 to support local hospice care.
