Appeal for witnesses following road traffic collision in High Wycombe

Police are appealing for witnesses following a road traffic collision in High Wycombe.

The incident occurred at around 10.50pm on Bellfield Road on Wednesday (6/12).

Officers attempted to stop a black Jaguar that was driving suspiciously.

The Jaguar failed to stop for the officers and made off.

The Jaguar then collided with a stationary kebab van before the occupants of the Jaguar fled the scene on foot.

Four men who were in the kebab van sustained injuries, with two of them taken to hospital for treatment for arm injuries.

Investigating officer PC Scott North, based at High Wycombe police station, said: “I am appealing for any witnesses to this collision to please come forward.

“Also, if you were driving in the area around the time of the collision and have a dash-cam, or if you live nearby and have a CCTV camera or a video doorbell, I’d also ask that you check any recordings in case it has captured something that could assist us and get in touch if you have.

“To contact us, call 101 or make a report on our website, quoting reference number 43230548270.

“Alternatively, you can provide information anonymously to independent charity Crimestoppers by calling 0800 555 111 or via its website."
