Appeal for witnesses following ABH assault in Amersham

Police are appealing for witnesses following an assault in Amersham, which left a 16-year-old boy injured.

Between 8.25pm and 8.30pm on Saturday (11/11), the victim was approached by two males at the junction of Chiltern Avenue and Station Approach.

He was assaulted by the two males, who then ran off towards Amersham tube station.

The offenders were then seen again within the multi-storey car park, where another two males were assaulted. These two victims have not yet been identified.

The first offender is described as white, aged between 17 and 21-years-old, around 5ft 7ins tall with a large build.

He was wearing a blue tracksuit and a balaclava.

The second offender was also white, aged between 17 and 21-years-old and around 5ft 10ins tall.

He was wearing dark clothing and was also wearing a balaclava.

The victim sustained swelling to his cheeks and heavy bruising and swelling above his right eye and a black eye.

He did not require hospital treatment.

Investigating officer PC Chris Kidd said: “I’m appealing to anybody who believes that they witnessed this incident to please get in touch with Thames Valley Police.

“I would also be keen to hear from anybody who may have dash-cam footage of the incident to contact us.

“I would also ask the two others who were seen being assaulted to please contact us.
