A lorry had overturned following a collision with a railway bridge on the A41 near Miller & Carter on the Bicester Road in Quarrendon at 10:15am yesterday morning (18 August).
Emergency services arrived at the scene to find the lorry was on its side following a collision with a bridge, and thankfully the driver was out when they arrived.
The firefighters provided immediate emergency care and made the scene safe. They used absorbent pads to mop up diesel spilt from the lorry.
The driver was passed into the care of South Central Ambulance Service.
The road was closed for some time in both directions between Aylesbury and Fleet Marston while the emergency services were on the scene.
