Worrying increase in number of young people using Bucks charity

Youth Concern say those needing support and food are the highest they've seen in over 40 years.

The independent charity supports all 13 to 25 year olds in Aylesbury Vale but specialises in young people who struggle with education, work, mental health, homelessness and substance abuse. They also launched Aylesbury's only youth foodbank in 2022. The charity have reported a 30% increase in those using the Drop In Centre in Aylesbury, and are serving more hot meals than ever before.

Youth Concern are looking to add to their team with a new Director of Youth Services. Hannah told us more:

The closing date for the post is March 17th.
