Stowe House hosts family-friendly planetarium shows this August. "We Are Aliens" and "Introduction to Night Sky" offer space exploration for ages 6+.

Join us this August for a brand-new event, alongside UK Astronomy we are pleased to introduce two new family-friendly shows based within an inflatable planetarium inside Stowe House.
Show 1: We Are Aliens - For families - children ages 6+
Explore how our understanding of life on Earth guides the exploration of alien life elsewhere in the Universe. During the show we visit Mars, Europa, and distant Exoplanets to help answer the ultimate question: are we alone? An immersive experience that perfectly balances science, education, and family entertainment. Narrated by Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley from Harry Potter.)
The show will last approximately 35 minutes.
Shows will run on the hour at 10.00am, 12.00pm and 3.00pm
Show 2: An Incredible Introduction to our Night Sky - For ages 6+
An easy to understand and informative, presenter-led tour of our night sky by award-winning UK Astronomy founder Ross Hockham. With a breath-taking look at our night sky projected all around you, Ross will guide you through our neighbouring constellations and the solar system, as well as venturing into deep space. This is an interactive talk with time for questions. Suitable for families.
The show will last approximately 45 minutes,
Shows will run on the hour at 11.00am, 2.00pm & 4.00pm

Booking is essential. Tickets to each show cost £6.50 per person.
Terms and Conditions:
- Guests will need to be able to walk unaided to access the inflatable planetarium, and all seating is on the planetarium floor for the duration of the show.
- No children under 6 years are permitted and all children must be accompanied by adult at all times.
-Arrival time is 10 minutes prior to the performance, no entry once the show has begun due to the air–sealed entry and exit points.
Please note your ticket does not include access to the Stowe House State Rooms and Discovery Centre or Stowe National Trust Gardens. Access to the planetarium shows only.
