Medieval Jousting

Experience medieval jousting as it makes a triumphant return to Chiltern Open Air Museum. Hear the clash of steel and the thundering of hooves fill the air. Step into a world of knights in shining armour and see displays of incredible skill and horsemanship as brave, armoured knights engage in jousting battles and combat. In-between jousting battles, watch some medieval dancing and archery and then have-a-go.

Jousting displays by the Knights of Royal England will transport you back in time to the medieval era, where chivalry and noble competition reigned supreme.

10:15 - 11:00 Archery demonstration (20mins) followed by have-a-go archery.

11:00 -11:45 Medieval Dancing with visitor participation
