Great Missenden Choral Society’s Autumn Concert will explore some hidden gems of the Classical repertoire, including two of Mozart’s sparkling settings of the 'Regina coeli' – an evocative evening prayer to the Virgin Mary – and Haydn’s tempestuous 'Insanae et vanae curae'.
Also performing will be star local soprano, Lucy Knight, who will sing with the choir in the 'Voyagers’ Chorus' from Mozart’s opera 'Idomeneo', and in his extraordinarily beautiful 'Laudate Dominum'. They will be joined by the renowned OXUS string quartet and conducted by Alex Flood.
The concert takes place at Amersham Free Church which offers level access and ample free parking. The Church is 9 minutes’ walk from Amersham Station.
