Head on a family guided walk around the village to discover some facts about the child heroes from Roald Dahl’s books, including Charlie from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. You’ll discover the High Street and Library that inspired parts of Roald’s stories and peek at the wondrous surrounding countryside. Enjoy extracts from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory brought to life by Michael, our expert storyteller, as you go along.

Walk lasts about an hour. The walk heads along pavements which are narrow in places. There is a steep section and part of the walk is over grass.
