The MoneyHeave Community Project is delighted to host “Can’t Afford to Be Broke”. This informal event is designed to provide practical tools for money management in a way that’s
approachable, engaging, and empowering.
The event will take place on Thursday, 30th January 2025, from 6:00pm to 8:30pm, at the
Buckinghamshire New Uni, Community Wellbeing Hub, 59 Walton St, Aylesbury HP21 7QG.
Why It Matters?
According to research by Money and Pension Services, 67% of young adults feel unprepared
for financial challenges, due to a lack of financial literacy. Leading to poor decisions, debt, and
stress.
Who Should Attend?
The event is open to all, with a focus on individuals aged 16-35 looking to improve their financial
knowledge and skills.
What to Expect:
● Guest Speakers: Gain practical tips on personal finance and resilience from
experienced professionals.
● Community Resources: Connect with local organisations offering support.
● Refreshments: Enjoy complimentary snacks and drinks throughout the event.
