There's loads going on in the Town centre, and we'll be hosting a Facebook event meaning you can still be part of the festivities even if you can't be there, or are anxious about being in large crowds.  All the details are below.

Aylesbury Town Centre Partnership (thanks to the Welcome Back Fund) are organising a whole afternoon of family fun, starting with the ever popular Parade from midday. The colourful vibrant display made up of professional acts, local businesses and non-profit organisations will make it's way around around the town centre and will be lead by Fantastic Mr Fox. It will last approximately one hour taking the route from Hale Leys loading bay, along the High Street and do a loop and a half of Market Square, with Father Christmas arriving in his open top car!

After the parade, there will be an enticing range of street food along with a small fun fair, go karts, character meet and greets, face painting, Christmas magic, arts, and crafts. In addition, a variety of fantastic street entertainers keeping the crowds in a festive spirit. There will be free roller-skating activities in Kingsbury along with a Snow globe outside the One4six cafe in Hale Leys for all the family to enjoy. This specific activity has been kindly sponsored by Hale Leys Shopping Centre for your pleasure.  (more below)

At 4 pm until 4.45pm, listen to the carol singing around the Christmas tree in the town centre outside HSBC for the Christmas tree light up.

We'll be starting our Facebook event (find us @YourBucksRadio), hosted by our team and with some special guests from Christmas past, will start at 3:45pm. It'll be a feast of festive music, magic, the return of our Sleeps Til Santa, and stars of the Waterside Theatre Panto Cinderella. We'll have highlights of what's been happening in town, before joining the celebrations live for switching on of the tree lights.
