The Big Help Out

We're are being encouraged to try volunteering and help out in out local communities as part of the Big Help Out campaign.

Starting on 8th May after the Coronation weekend, you can volunteer at any time during the Summer and beyond with lots of opportunities available in Buckinghamshire.

If you are keen to take part in the Big Help Out but don’t know how to find a local volunteering role, register with the Buckinghamshire Volunteer Matching Service and the team will look for a role that fits your interests, skills and available time. You could find a suitable role in just three steps:

  1. If 16 years+, register as a volunteer and tell us about your preferences

  2. The team will contact you to discuss a potential volunteer role

  3. You then decide if the role is a good fit and if you want to proceed

Find out more about registering as a volunteer in Buckinghamshire by visiting @CommunityImpactBucks https://communityimpactbucks.org.uk/buckinghamshire-volunteer-matching-service/ (external site).

If you are part of an organisation and have local volunteer opportunities, follow the same link and register your roles to tap into the pool of local volunteers.
