Meet Paralympic athlete Hannah Cockroft
Join us for our first lunchtime talk and take away more than just a sandwich from your break! Learning through lunch could alter your afternoon approach to work and help you view your opportunities from a whole new perspective.
Training to be an elite athlete is a full-time job and working to be the best you can be, takes teamwork. Inspire the team around you by listening to Hannah Cockroft OBE, PLY, DL, one of the most successful Paralympians of our time, as she takes us through her race to the top, from the highs of winning at London 2012 to the lows of losing world records and more.
This talk is suitable for all adults, wherever you are on your career path. We will be joined by BSL interpreter Marie Biswell for this event.
This talk is free to join, it’s very important to us that it is accessible to all, but as a charity we do welcome your donations to not only support this new series of talks but to ensure we can continue the important work we do at the Trust to raise disability awareness and to celebrate and preserve our country’s Paralympic Heritage. A £3 donation (with Gift Aid added) is enough for us to reach 2 more children with our work.
Book your FREE place below and prepare to be motivated! Bookings close at 5pm on Monday 3rd April.
Share your sandwiches with Hannah Cockcroft on Tuesday 4th April at 1pm.
