  Aston Lights

  17 October 2026, 5 - 8pm, Aston Clinton School
  
  Bring the whole family for a dazzling evening of colour and wonder at our spectacular Laser Light Show! Experience a mesmerizing blend of vibrant lights, captivating music, and enchanting visuals that will leave you in awe. We’ll also have a range of food trucks, amusements and a bar available. Don't miss out on the magic—come and see the night come alive with brilliant lasers dancing across the sky!
  
  This year we have managed to secure the amazing Elastic Cats so make sure not to miss them!

  Haydon Hill Community Association Open Day

  18 October, 1 - 3pm. Haydon Hill Community Centre, Dickens Way, Aylesbury HP19 8SR. Free entry - all ages welcome
  Come along and explore our brilliant classes and groups that use our hall every week. From fitness to crafts, social clubs to hobby groups, you'll be able to join in taster sessions, meet the organisers, and discover something new to love. Featuring: Meet our friendly PCSOs, face painting, sweet treats, the little library.

  Thomley Reduced Sound Fireworks Display

  REDUCED SOUND FIREWORKS DISPLAY 🎇
  📅 When? On Saturday 24th October, from 5-8pm
  📍 Where? At Thomley, between Aylesbury and Oxford, HP189JZ
  👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Who for? For anyone! All ages and abilities welcome.
  🎆 Why are our fireworks different? This event has fireworks that are a lot quieter than regular fireworks. This can help those who struggle with loud noises and bangs.
  🔥 What else is there on the night? We have a FIRE ARTIST to keep you entertained, plus hot food including freshly made pizzas, burgers, fries and a bar to keep you watered

  Halloween at Friars Square

  Join us on Friday 30 October from 11am to 3pm for a frightfully fun family day out. Spooktacular Science Shows with Dr Dude 11am, 12.30pm and 2pm. Spot our wicked stiltwalking witches. Meet Belladonna the witch and the Venus Fly Trap. Prizes for the best-dressed little monsters. Free creepy craft workshop and trail too.

  Trick or Treat at Radley

  31 October, 5.30 - 7.30pm at the Radley Aylesbury Showroom, Rabans Lane, Aylesbury HP19 8RT.
  A fun and safe Halloween experience for everyone. 13 Spooky doors to trick or treat on. Free entertainment outside the showroom. Food truck, drinks and cakes. Come in costume if you dare! No booking required, just turn up.

  Halloween Ball for Mini Beasts Rescue

  Join us for a spooktacular Halloween Ball at Ellesborough Parish Hall on Saturday 31st October from 6:30pm!
  This is a FREE, family-friendly event, but tickets must be booked in advance as spaces are limited.
  What to expect:
  FREE welcome drink on arrival
  FREE sweet cone for every child
  Prizes available across our Best Dressed categories – so come dressed to impress!
  A photographer will be there capturing the evening, with photos available as keepsakes
  Stalls and local vendors to browse and purchase from
  Food available to purchase throughout the evening
  Fully stocked bar with alcoholic drinks, soft drinks, cocktails & mocktails available to purchase
  Charity raffle in aid of Mini Beast Rescue, with some fantastic prizes up for grabs

  Long Crendon Fireworks Display

  7th November, Long Crendon School. Doors open 4.45pm
  
  Organised to raise vital funds for Long Crendon School PTA, the event promises a family-friendly evening packed with entertainment, refreshments and a professional fireworks display.
  
  Visitors can enjoy a range of food and drink options, including hot dogs, food trucks, hot chocolate, a sweet stall and a bar serving local XT beer. All proceeds from the event will go directly towards supporting projects, equipment and opportunities for pupils at Long Crendon School.

  Great Missenden C of E School Firework Extravaganza

  Saturday 7 November, gates open 5pm at Great Missenden C of E School.
  Spectacular fireworks and music. Bonfire, family entertainment, rides, hog roast and licensed bar.

  Christmas on the Cobbles

  22 November 2026 - 12pm - 6pm
  A day filled with festive family fun, games, crafts, activities and entertainers, includes fun fair rides for children in Kingsbury. 5pm will see the start of an illuminated parade, featuring a range of local groups and organisations as well as professional entertainers and of course the “big man” himself, Father Christmas. The parade will finish with the counting down to the switch on of the town’s Christmas lights and a firework display for the entire family to enjoy.

  Broughton Infant School Winter Warmer

  Friday 27 November, 5.30pm - 7.30pm, Broughton Infant School
  A fantastic family festive evening packed with Christmas shopping, local stalls, delicious food and drinks, fun activities and plenty of Christmas cheer! Bring the whole family, get into the Christmas spirit and help us raise vital funds for our school.

  Wendover Christmas Lights Switch on

  Saturday 28 November
  Join us for a magical evening full of festive stalls, food, entertainment, and the Christmas Lights Switch On!

  Princes Risborough Christmas Lights Switch On

  Saturday, 28th November 2026, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Princes Risborough High Street

  Thomley Christmas Fair & Lights Trail

  5 - 6 December, 12 - 6pm. Free entry, no need to book.
  Christmas stalls, food, activities, Christmas raffle, grotto and soft play. Stay on after the Christmas Market for our Christmas Light Trail event which starts at 5pm. Tickets essential, on Thomley website.

  5K Santa Run

  Sunday 6 December
  Join us for a 5k Santa Run (or walk) around the gardens. Dress up as Santa and get into the festive spirit! Entry fees go towards conservation at Stowe. Ticket price also includes all day access to the gardens.
  
  We will be open from 8am for registration with a 9am start.
  
  Children are welcome, but all those competing under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Dogs (Santa Paws!) on leads are also welcome but please ensure all dog waste is picked up.

  BiertonFest

  19 June 2027, 3pm - 10pm
  A local village festival with bands, children's entertainment, food vendors and a bar.
