The Winslow Coop has been raided for the second time in 2 weeks, with one local councillor saying if broken bollards had been replaced after a previous incident, last night's raid may not have happened.
Police Officers from Aylesbury responded to the burglary at the shop on the High Street (26/2), where offenders had used a stolen John Deere telehandler to rip out a cash machine.
Speaking to Bucks Radio, Local Independent Cllr Diana Blamires said police told her if the bollards had been replaced following a separate incident, it might have made a difference.

Cllr Diana Blamires commented, "It's frustrating that the bollards haven't been replaced, police say that might have made a difference." The Independent Councillor continued, " Local Unitary Cllrs, Town Cllrs and residents of Winslow have been pressing for these bollards to be replaced for months.
Councillor Blamires say she has spoken to Buckinghamshire Council and has been told, although the bollards have been ordered, there isn’t a date for them to be installed yet.
