Train operator Chiltern Railways has warned customers to only travel on its services if absolutely essential next week.
Between 13 - 17 December and 19 - 20 December, no Chiltern Railways services will run north of Banbury, while on 18 December, no Chiltern Railways services are expected to run.
On strike days (13, 14, 16, 17 December), services will start later and finish much earlier than usual. Services will run between approximately 8AM-4PM.
On 15 December, there also be a late start to services, but they will run later into the evening.
Owing to further industrial action between 18 December and 2 January, Chiltern Railways will be expecting significant disruption throughout this period. The expectation is that there will be a limited availability of staff, and that there will be a risk of short-notice cancellations.
During times of operation, there will be four trains per hour:
Marylebone to stations to Oxford Parkway (and vice-versa)
Marylebone to stations to Aylesbury (via High Wycombe, and vice-versa)
Marylebone to stations to Banbury (and vice-versa)
Aylesbury Vale Parkway to stations to Amersham (and vice-versa)
