Last night (22/3) the match between Long Crendon FC and Risborough Rangers was abandoned due to a Long Crendon player sustaining an injury in the 12th minute.
Thames Valley Air Ambulance landed on the pitch during the Gladwish Challenge Trophy game to care for him
Both sides looked after the player as they waited for the emergency services to arrive, and have thanked the swift actions of the Ambulance service and supporters for their patience.
A spokesperson for Risborough Rangers has said they hope to welcome Long Crendon FC back to the BEP Stadium soon, and wish the injured player well.
