Thames Valley Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a tragic three-vehicle collision that occurred last night (24/07/25) on Daws Hill Lane, at the junction with Kennedy Avenue.
The collision, which happened at approximately 7.40pm on Thursday evening (24 July), involved a black Audi, a grey Volkswagen Polo, and a blue Honda.
Sadly, two young men who were travelling in the Audi were pronounced dead at the scene. Their families have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers.
Detective Chief Inspector Justin Thomas of the Serious Collision Investigation Unit said:
“Very sadly, two young men who were in the Audi vehicle have died as a result of this collision. Their next of kin have been informed and our thoughts and sympathies are with their family and friends.”
“The occupants of the other two vehicles suffered minor injuries. This is a very complicated scene and the road is likely to remain closed for most of the day while investigations are carried out.”
Police are urging any witnesses or individuals with information to come forward. In particular, anyone with dash-cam or video footage from the area around the time of the incident is asked to contact police.
DCI Thomas added:
“I would urge people not to upload footage onto social media platforms out of respect for those involved as well as their families and friends.”
Digital evidence can be submitted via Thames Valley Police’s dedicated investigation portal. Witnesses can also contact police by calling 101 or reporting online at the Thames Valley Police website, quoting reference 43230294871.
The investigation is ongoing.
