Community Impact Bucks are getting involved in a free online event tonight (23/6) giving advice and support to residents hosting Ukrainian refugees.
Their Community Support Project Manager Tania Orlova - who is also a recent Ukrainian refugee herself, will be sharing insight at the event, along with many others.
Advice including in the event will include:
- How to keep helping others when you are running low on energy
- How to access help when things go wrong
- How to have difficult conversations when language is a problem
- How to help someone coping with trauma
- How to better understand Ukrainian culture
