They want information in connection with a burglary and an attempted burglary in Whitchurch near Aylesbury.
The two offences are being linked and happened on Thursday (4/11).
The burglary happened in Market Hill between about 8.30am and 5.50pm. During the burglary, jewellery was stolen.
The attempted burglary occurred in Oving Road between about 11am and 7.45pm. Nothing was taken during the incident, but damage was caused to the front door.
At this stage of the investigation, there are no descriptions of the offenders.
Investigating officer, Detective Constable Sarah Spain said:
“I would appeal to anyone with any information about these offences to contact Thames Valley Police as soon as possible.
“You can call the force on 101, visit a police station, or leave information on our website, quoting investigation reference 43210498964 regarding the burglary in Market Hill, or 43210499272 regarding the attempted burglary in Oving Road.”
