A man in his forties has sadly died after being hit by a lorry on the A404 near Marlow on Monday morning.
At around 7.20am on 11th July, a white Scania articulated lorry with a blue trailer hit a pedestrian on the A404 southbound between junction 4 on M40 and the A4155 exit at Marlow.
The road was closed for two hours whilst police dealt with the incident, with dozens of cars mounting the verge of the dual carriageway to allow access for emergency vehicles.
Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses.
Investigating officer PC Alistair Bennet, of the Joint Operations Roads Policing Unit, said: “We are appealing for witnesses following a fatal collision in which a man has sadly died.
“Our thoughts are with his family.
