Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses to a robbery that happened on Waterside in Chesham.
At around 5pm on Wednesday (8/5) a woman in her sixties, was walking on Waterside, between Trapps Lane and Moor Road, when a man run towards her at speed and grabbed her handbag.
The woman was not injured but left shaken and upset.
Officers have arrested a 40-year-old man from Aylesbury on suspicion of robbery. He remains in custody at this time.
Investigating officer PC Harrison Snell, said: “We are investigating this robbery and we are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
“We are aware of two people who may have witnessed this incident, who we would ask to get in touch with us.
