A new bug hotel has been installed in Amersham.
The bug hotels has been added to the tea hut wall in the Memorial Gardens.
A spokesperson for Amersham Town Council said: "Bug hotels are of great importance in maintaining local ecosystems. With the ongoing urbanisation natural habitats are diminishing, making it difficult for insects and invertebrates to find suitable places for nesting and shelter."
"By constructing bug hotels, you can actively participate in the preservation of beneficial insects that are crucial for pollination, natural pest control, and nutrient recycling."
"These small creatures, really are the unsung heroes of nature, tirelessly working to sustain our ecosystems."
