Man Medically Trapped with Head Injuries.

A man has been injured following a single-car collision at the Hen & Chickens roundabout in Aylesbury, which resulted in road closures on the route leading to Oxford Road.

Emergency services were called to the scene on Friarage Road after a car overturned and came to rest on its roof.

The incident occurred around 7.30am this morning. (31/07/25)

Two fire crews from Aylesbury Fire Station, along with a fire officer, attended the scene. According to Buckinghamshire Fire & Rescue Service, one male adult was medically trapped in the vehicle and sustained head injuries.

Firefighters provided immediate emergency care and worked alongside South Central Ambulance Service to release the man from the car. He was then transferred into the care of paramedics.

Thames Valley Police were also in attendance and helped manage the scene. Commuters were advised to avoid the area while emergency services responded and the road remained closed.

No other vehicles were involved in the incident. The cause of the collision has not yet been confirmed.
