It's been confirmed that the A418 between the Coldharbour Roundabout and Sedrup will be COMPLETELY SHUT from 8.30pm on Friday 17th November to 5.30am on Monday 20th November.
It's for HS2 work, and the footpath is also set to be closed, despite local Councils pushing for it to remain open. The diversion will be 24 miles long (that's a long walk!)
Access to Meadoway and Mayflower will be via Sedrup Lane only, and there will be no Blue Light access during the closure.
There is a contingency date of 1-4 December.
We're also been warned that the A41 is planned to be closed for 3 consecutive weekends next May 2024, with more details to come.
