At a time where music is struggling, Aylesbury based musician Brett Uren has jumped at the opportunity.
The home grown artist, who goes by the stage name of Gade, hasn't let the closure of gig venues get in his way, and is enjoying finding new ways to promote and perform.
He says "So many people seem to forget that art and music has been around as long as humanity has, and I decided it was the perfect time to make some music."
From online communities, he has also met like minded musicians who are thriving in lockdown, he says "Like many musicians you have the chance to put out material, but you can't play to people [and] build and maintain audience. You have to find new creative ways and luckily people are."
He even credited the creative town of Aylesbury saying its diversity inspired him.
He says "Aylesbury doesn't get enough credit outside of the town itself, for being so wonderfully dizzyingly diverse. That it can't help but be inspirational."
Gade has also been using his time to create a new album, coming out later this year.
