Santa's Flying Sleigh aims to bring Santa Claus to terminally ill children, orphanages and schools in need all year round.
Following two colon cancer scares, Neil Axe, from Aylesbury, has transformed his personal challenge into a mission of hope He founded Santa's Flying Sleigh C.I.C., a not-for-profit initiative aimed at bringing free Santa Claus visits to terminally ill children, orphans, and primary school children in areas of high poverty.
"I want to bring a little magic and joy to children who need it most," says Neil. "Santa isn't just for Christmas; he can be a beacon of hope all year round, especially for those not assured of being with us by the time the next Yuletide is celebrated."
The initiative plans to purchase and outfit an HGV truck as a mobile grotto, allowing Santa to visit children directly. Neil, 59, has also written The Santa Klaus Trilogy and is sharing page readings on social media to raise awareness, dressed as Santa.
Despite various challenges, Neil remains determined to succeed in his ambitious project. His Go Fund Me campaign aims to raise the necessary funds to bring Santa's Flying Sleigh to life.
