Police have released an image of three people officers wish to speak to in connection with an attempted robbery in High Wycombe.
At around 3pm on 24 January this year, two offenders threatened a man in his twenties and demanded him to hand over his phone at the Buckinghamshire New University campus in Abbey Way.
One of the offenders then hit the victim before fleeing the scene without stealing anything. The victim was uninjured.
Investigating officer Detective Constable Adrian Speakman, of the South Buckinghamshire Priority Crime Team, said: “I am appealing to anybody who recognises these people to please get in touch with us as we believe they may have vital information about this attempted robbery.
“If you are any of the people pictured, please come forward as soon as possible.
“To contact us, call 101 or make a report on our website, quoting reference number 43240036635.
“Alternatively, you can provide information anonymously to independent charity Crimestoppers by calling 0800 555 111 or via its website.”
The university has provided the CCTV image and is supporting our investigation.
