Four further arrests have been made in connection with a disorder in Chesham.
Four men, aged 23, 24, 29 and 34, all from Chesham, have been arrested on suspicion of violent disorder and remain in police custody.
A number of people who are believed to be known to each other were involved in disorder in the Cresswell Road, Darvell Drive and Bellingdon Road areas on Monday (5/2).
One man was taken to hospital where he remains in a stable condition. His injuries are not life threatening.
A Section 60 order, which allows officers greater powers of stop and search, was put in place for 24 hours yesterday to prevent further possible violence; this will not be extended.
Inspector Jason Liles said: “We are continuing our investigation and have now made five arrests in connection with the incident and as a result will not be renewing the Section 60 order that has been in place.
“Anyone with information about the incident should contact Thames Valley Police on 101 quoting reference 43240057310.”
A 28-year-old man from Chesham previously arrested on suspicion of assault has been released on police bail.
