The Chiltern Open Air Museum is offering the chance for 5 schools to be able to have a free trip and workshop at the museum.
As part of the VE80 celebrations grant from the UK Government through Arts Council England, the experience and WW2 themed workshop is on a strictly first-come, first-served basis providing the trips occur before January 2026. As well as offering the sessions totally free, the museum can also contribute a bursary of up to £500 to pay for travel. This offer is for schools that receive higher than 22% pupil premium.
The Goodnight Mister Tom workshop for schools explores themes of wartime Britain through immersive storytelling, creating writing activities, and hands-on experiences that bring Michelle Magorian's beloved book to life.
