As part of the Government's push to help people drive electric, Bucks has received £105k to install four new EV charging units in the county.
The ground work for the hubs are due to start next month at Coopers Yard and Waterside North car parks in Aylesbury as well as Buckingham’s Cornwalls Meadow and Western Avenue.
The units at Cornwalls Meadow will be flood resistant.
The car parks are all council-owned and located in priority areas across Buckinghamshire.
The 16 EV plug in points will be installed in car parks that are free to park in overnight (from 9pm to 8am). Four bays in each car park will be reserved for EV charging only 24/7.
