Aylesbury High School has honoured the achievements of a former student who recently received a prestigious innovation award.
Dr Layla Hosseini-Gerami won the Innovate UK Women in Innovation Award, which includes a £75,000 grant to support her work using artificial intelligence to tackle drug safety risks in women and ethnic minorities.
The school unveiled a Purple Plaque in her honour, and said it was delighted to welcome Dr Hosseini-Gerami back to celebrate the achievement and highlight her success in STEM and innovation.
