A former Aylesbury Grammer School pupil has come 2nd in the Frankfurt Ironman.
Kieran Lindars came 2nd in Sunday's event.
The Brit was welling up long before he crossed the finish line.
He now qualifies for the Ironman World Championships in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii.
