The money raised will to ensure local families get the help and support they need over the festive period.
The Charity will fund over £80,000 of services at Florence Nightingale Hospice this December, to enable the hospice team to care for hundreds of patients and their families across Buckinghamshire this Christmas.
Liz Mongahan, Matron at the Hospice has said “My whole team, Community Clinical Nurse Specialists, Florrie’s Children’s Team, Day Hospice, FNH@Home and the In-Patient Unit are right now supporting families across Buckinghamshire who know that this might be the last Christmas they spend with a loved one,
"They will be there to ease the stresses and support families through this difficult period – allowing them to concentrate on each other and spend that quality time they have left with each other – whether that’s working to get a patient home to be with their family on Christmas Day or making the Hospice as festive as we can for our Day Hospice patients, and those in the In-Patient Unit.”
