The maternity service at Stoke Mandeville Hospital welcomed nine new babies into the world this year on New Year’s Day.
The first baby of 2022 was a boy, delivered at 1.27am to mum Georgia Stewart and dad Oliver Turner.
Weighing 7lbs and named Mason, he is the first child in the family.
Director of Midwifery Heidi Beddall said: “Congratulations to all the families of our New Year’s Day babies. It’s a real privilege for our maternity teams to welcome the new arrivals.”
It’s strongly recommended that you get vaccinated against COVID-19 if you are pregnant to protect you and your baby.
