Fire crews were called to a garage fire in Aylesbury on Sunday.
Two crews were sent to Northfield Road just before 2:30pm.
A fire had believed to have started in a wheelie bin from a disposable BBQ, it had spread to a garage and gas main.
The firefighters used two sets of breathing apparatus, one hose reel and a short extension ladder.
Cordons were put in place around the gas main, the Gas Board attended and isolated the gas supply to stem the leak.
The electric supply was also isolated in the property.
