Multiple fire crews have been tackling a major fire in the hours of this morning in High Wycombe.
Emergency services responded to a fire in a commercial building on Copyground Lane at just before 3am.
Ten appliances and crews, five officers and an operational support unit were in attendance at the height of the fire.
A fully developed fire, in the ground floor of a two-storey commercial building, was generating smoke in the area when they arrived.
The building was 100 per cent involved in the fire. The electricity supply to the building was isolated.
Thames Valley Police attended to help establish a scene cordon. The road is expected to be closed for some time so motorists are advised to seek alternative routes.
Smoke remains present in the area so local residents and businesses may wish to keep doors and windows closed.
The incident response began to be scaled back shortly before 7am. Firefighters will remain on scene throughout the day turning over, damping down and monitoring for hot spots.
