Thame Town Council provided some clarification about the works on these roads on social media.
Thame Town Council stated, "The Thame bypass and Oxford Road will be done sequentially, controlled access maintained for residents, businesses & bus services throughout. Pedestrian access will also be unaffected throughout.
Also affected properties will receive a letter 24-48hrs in advance of attendance with a date stamp (intended date of attendance)
The current programme shows the Thame Bypass, and the Oxford Road are due to be Surface dressed on the 4th and 5th June (Dependent on weather). In addition to this the Surface Seal treatment will be done on the 12th and 13th June.
