Fire crews responded to a living room fire in Chalfont St Peter on Christmas Day.
One appliance and crew from Gerrards Cross, supported by two appliances and crew from Royal Berkshire Fire & Rescue Service, attended the house fire in Royal Close.
The fire was located in the living room and is believed to have been started by Christmas tree lights.
The room was 30 percent damaged by the fire and 100 percent smoke-damaged.
One male was cared for by South Central Ambulance Service.
