After an accidental bleach disaster at a hairdressers, an Aylesbury lady is shaving her head to raise money for the Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity.
Keely Purnell, from Bedgrove, realised her hair was burning during a routine colouring at a hair salon, and it's inspired her to raise £1,000 for the Hospice.
She told us "I saw smoke coming from my hair, and some of it was falling out, which got me thinking what it must feel like to lose your hair completely. This gave me the idea, as my hair was ruined, to raise money for a local charity that helps cancer patients by promising to publicly shave my head and hopefully reach the goal of £1,000".
The clippers are out on Thursday 7th January, and if you would like to donate to Keely's headshave, you can do so at www.justgiving.com/fundraising/keelytheradio
